Why do you enjoy your job?
I enjoy the interaction with many people from different teams. I help to manage and improve the accuracy of all global client data in salesforce systems to help the sales teams manage their relationships with their clients.
What is the most challenging thing about your job?
One of the aspects I found challenging was getting used to the systems I use and understanding the capabilities of them. Also understanding the new terminology was challenging.
How did you get into your job?
After my A-Levels, I went travelling for 6 months. When I returned I started working in property for a property developing company for 2 years and whilst I was doing that, I started to get an interest in finance. I then got a work placement at an asset management firm and then also a temporary role for 4 months. Whilst I was doing this I found out about the Investment20/20 scheme and started applying to the roles that were advertised on the website.
What are your future aspirations?
I would like to complete the IMC and start working towards the CFA qualifications. I would also like to work more within the investment side of the business.
How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?
It has been a great introduction to working in the financial services industry. Coming into work with a smile on my face and learning new things every day has kept me motivated and eager to learn more.
