What are we looking for?
You could be a school leaver or recent graduate, and join us on our year-long trainee programme or a school leaver on our two-year apprenticeship programme. Either way you’ll gain a fantastic introduction to investment management, while developing key skills and building your professional network across the business.
We don’t expect you to be an expert in your field, in fact, we’re happy to teach you all you need to know on the job. We take on a number of trainees and apprentices each year, which means you’ll be part of a team from day one. You’ll take part in a wide range of development opportunities designed to equip you with industry accredited qualifications, knowledge, and the soft skills that you’ll use throughout your career.
What we need from you is a can-do attitude, a willingness to get stuck in and a flexible attitude to work. We have five core values which underpin our business – passion, innovation, integrity, teamwork and excellence, and we look for these in the people we recruit.
Schroders is proud to have been a founding partner of Investment20/20 and has supported nearly 200 young people to start their career in the industry through the programme.
