Why do you enjoy your job?

I enjoy my job as it gives me the chance to interact with people from all areas and departments of the business. My role gives me a great insight into the way the business and the investment industry function. I enjoy the opportunity to communicate and work with fellow employees from other offices around the world.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

At the beginning I found the transition from school to work difficult as the days are longer, you are faced with a long commute and you have to learn a lot of technical terms and new systems. At first this is challenging but you adapt to this fairly soon.

How did you get into your job?

I joined the scheme after completing A-Levels at sixth form. Whist at sixth form I realised that I didn’t want to go to university and wanted to start working. I heard about Investment20/20 through a friend.

What are your future aspirations?

This year has made me realise that I want to continue to pursue a career in the investment industry.

How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?

Being an Investment20/20 trainee has been a great experience. It has allowed me to meet lots of new people from attending the training and social events. The training events were very helpful as they have provided me with great information which will help me going forward in this industry.
