Why do you enjoy your job?
I started at Henderson Global Investors* as a Trainee Product Manager. I got good exposure to all areas of the asset management industry and took on some interesting and challenging work, enough so that I wanted to continue in a product role where possible. Unfortunately, just as my year was coming to an end, there was no head count in Product at Henderson. As a result they were fully supportive of me finding a Product role elsewhere. From Henderson I’ve made some great friends in the industry and long-term connections within the industry that I’m thankful to Investment20/20 for.
How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?
Investment20/20 and Henderson gave me a great years’ experience, whereby I managed to secure a Product Manager role at Legg Mason (a non-Investment2020 participating company). Since being at Legg Mason for 2 years, I have had the opportinity to work for 8 months in Singapore for our Asian product team.
