Why do you enjoy your job?
I find my job engaging and interesting as I look in detail at Invesco’s funds – their size, holdings and management style. I enjoy working with data and developing my knowledge of Invesco’s products so this role suits me perfectly. I also appreciate all of the different opportunities Invesco offers to learn about different departments and areas of the business.
What is the most challenging thing about your job?
In my role there is a great deal of information I must remember regarding Invesco’s products. Therefore, the most challenging thing about my job would be retention of large quantities of facts and data. However, this should be developed through experience.
How did you get into your job?
I joined the Investment20/20 scheme straight from college, having heard about the Invesco vacancy through the college careers adviser. I spoke to one of the fund managers to gain an insight and he really sold the company to me. The Investment20/20 scheme has provided me with a unique and valuable opportunity to kick start my career in investments – an industry which I am passionate about.
How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the Investment20/20 scheme, it has motivated me and given me the insight and experience I would not have been able to gain elsewhere.
