Why do you enjoy your job?
I am learning about finance, which is something totally new to me. In my role I particularly like being able to split my time between creative and organisational tasks. I genuinely enjoy what I do and that is also down to the people I work with: everyone is willing to help and share knowledge which is great.
What is the most challenging thing about your job?
Organisation and prioritising tasks can be quite tricky at times. I have different tasks to complete which often involves re-prioritising my time in order to fulfil all the requests by their deadlines.
How did you get into your job?
I was keen to get a job in the asset management industry and especially at Invesco so I started looking for opportunities. Investment20/20 gave me the ideal opportunity to be able to do this.
What are your future aspirations?
My goals in the short term are to get the CISI qualification and/or other sector qualifications and to gain valuable experience with a view to securing a permanent position within the company.
How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?
My quote has always been “ Ad maiora semper” (always towards greater). I think it is important to never stop dreaming!
