Why do you enjoy your job?

My role involves supporting the investment process with research and analytics to help my team make more informed investment decisions. I really enjoy the fact that my role is varied and every day brings new challenging problems to solve. My 6 months in Multi-Strategy Investments has allowed me to collaborate with a broad network of people and gain substantial knowledge of financial markets. I also really appreciate the ability to rotate to different investment teams in my role and I expect my next seat in Responsible Investments to be just as exciting.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

In the first few months, the most challenging thing about my role was the steep learning curve, as there are many technical concepts and terms which take getting used to. However, you are encouraged to ask many questions to help acquire that knowledge.

How did you get into your job?

I finished my A-Levels in 2018 after studying Maths, Economics and History. I had a place to study Economics at university but decided that I wanted some experience in the financial industry before attending. Investment20/20 seemed like a great tool to gain insight in an industry that I have always had an interest in.

How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?

This experience has been a valuable opportunity to gain an insight into a competitive industry, acquire deep technical skills, and establish a network of highly regarded professionals.
