Why do you enjoy your job?

My role consists of daily contact and communication with clients and consultants. Often sending out reports and files that reports a client’s holdings. I am very confident speaking to new people which is important in working in a client facing role.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

The most challenging task about my job is meeting client and consultant deadlines and providing them with what they want in a very short time frame.

How did you get into your job?

I entered my role at Schroders straight from college. I always knew I was going to go down the financial route and my time at Schroders has confirmed this view. My journey started in secondary school after spending a week of work experience at Barclays. Investment20/20 has helped me realise just how many roles there are in the financial industry, they have helped me break the stigma that the only way of getting into a financial profession is by studying maths.

What are your future aspirations?

At the moment my future seems to be heading into the world of insurance. Work experience at Lloyds of London allowed me to experience the different mechanisms of the insurance world.

How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?

“Amazing, Don’t shy away from any opportunities and keep an open mind”
