Founders Rob Gardner and Dawid Konotey-Ahulu left Merrill Lynch with the target of solving the pensions crisis that continues to afflict so many. After just 9 years, Redington has c. £374bn assets under consulting and is looking to continue expanding both its personnel and client base.
We are purely an advisory firm, taking pension schemes on a journey that will see them arrive at full funding. Our flight plan and risk management framework has proved a huge success in identifying client objectives and limitations, putting them at the heart of our bespoke strategy.
Redington differs from its competitors both in terms of how it goes about meeting clients’ needs and the principles that are at the heart of everything we do; being responsible, open and clear. A young and vibrant company, the firm is always looking to learn new ideas and understanding the clients’ needs is our priority; we begin with the end in mind.
There is none of the ‘corporate giant’ feel about Redington.
We are serious about what we do and always deliver results, but the atmosphere in our office is always warm, friendly and open. Redington’s culture and values, as well as the talented and dedicated employees, are what have taken this company so far. On the brink of a decade of continuous growth and success, we are looking for the next generation to take us forward into the next 10 years and beyond.
Why join us?
Redington are looking for bright, dedicated and, most importantly, hungry applicants. A strong desire to learn, face up to challenges and develop your own skillset are necessary qualities in our employees.
Redington offers the opportunity to be directly involved in client solutions. You will have a measurable and meaningful impact on the firm, and will be afforded genuine responsibility. Support is always available; this is a young firm with employees that are growing along with the company they work for. Although undoubtedly challenging, the rewards of working for Redington are tenfold.

What we are looking for
We look to hire proactive problem solvers, who do not necessarily have backgrounds in finance; neither Rob nor Dawid graduated with degrees related to the industry. As mentioned before, a strong desire to learn and can-do attitude are the most important attributes an applicant can have. We want individuals who can buy into the values and culture of the firm, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the finance industry.
