Why do you enjoy your job?
I thoroughly enjoy working at GAM for many reasons. The first being, I have had many opportunities to complete projects that have benefited my personal development. The second reason being the amount of responsibility I have been given. Some of my main responsibilities include using Sitecore (a content management system) to upload and publish content on the website, adding/removing job vacancies, updating manager bios, creating email templates using HTML and uploading legal documents. In addition, I also post the updates on the GAM UK social media accounts (Twitter and LinkedIn).
What is the most challenging thing about your job?
Due to my many responsibilities I am made to feel like a valuable member of the team. However, with responsibility comes accountability. Therefore, what challenges me most within my role are the daily deadlines.
How did you get into your job?
I am currently studying an Advertising BA Hons degree at Bournemouth University and am completing this trainee programme for my placement year. I came across the Investment20/20 scheme through a friend who had completed the programme herself. She told me that is was a great opportunity, so I applied and here I am today!
