Programme information
You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. While we can’t guarantee a permanent position at the end of the 12 month contract, it is our intention to make an offer to extend a further year, but this is up to how well you perform. 75% of Investment20/20 trainees are offered permanent positions.
Our traineeship will introduce you to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role. We will support you in achieving a professional qualification if this is something you are interested in doing. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
Our trainee programme is a fixed term one-year contract. You will receive 25 days annual leave. All roles are based in London.
Programme Summary
This is a programme intended to give you a breadth of knowledge and experience within the business to enable you to make informed decisions about where you would like to develop your career.
Responsibilities include
The Finance Intern will operate across the UK Finance perimeter, primarily supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounting functions. This role requires effective coordination within the UK Finance team to support timely and accurate financial processing, reporting, and control. Responsibilities Include:
• Providing first-line application support to end users
• Accounts Payable in coordination with the AP team
• Process employee expense claims on a weekly basis, ensuring compliance with Company policies.
• Assist with the accurate recording of supplier invoices in Oracle Accounts Payable (AP) system.
• Set up new suppliers within the Oracle AP system, maintaining accurate supplier records.
• Prepare and execute manual payments via Bankline (UK and international), ensuring all payments are properly authorised.
• Monitor the AP Finance mailbox, ensuring invoices are saved and filed appropriately.
• Respond to supplier and staff queries related to accounts payable promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals for expenses at month end.
• Compile and prepare monthly expense reports for designated business lines, including Facilities, HR, and Travel.
• Generate weekly cash transaction reports to support cash flow monitoring.
• Prepare monthly approved payments report.
• Conduct monthly revenue control checks.
• Perform intercompany reconciliation between Amundi UK Limited and Amundi IT Services London Branch.
• Assist with group-level intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for expense accounts, ensuring alignment with Oracle general ledger.
• Support the maintenance and updating of internal procedure documentation.
Additional responsibilities:
• Undertake other ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the UK Finance team.
Skills/Experience:
• Experience of studying or working in the investment or financial sector
• Proven ability to work effectively across multiple finance functions.
• University graduate in accounting or finance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Be prepared to work with a strong team spirit and in a strong coordination with other members of the finance team.

• At all times the role holder will adhere to FCA and SMCR rules as well as the Company’s policies and procedures. Where appropriate, the role holder will seek guidance from Head of Compliance, Senior Management or HR.
