JOB CONTENT
ROLE DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
As the London-based Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental, Social and Governance Specialist Assistant, you will split your time supporting the CSR and ESG specialist teams. On the CSR side, you will work with the global CSR team to roll out programs within the UK perimeter, and you will act as a point person on CSR topics for our London-based employees. You will also spend time working with the global ESG Specialist team supporting them in their purpose to promote BNPP AM’s sustainable investment approach to clients and other stakeholders.
INVESTMENT20/20 PROGRAMME INFORMATION:
You will join as an intern as part of the Investment20/20 one-year programme. We can’t guarantee a permanent position at the end of the 12-month contract, however, if you perform well & if we have an open position available at the time, then permanent employment could be a possibility.
As an intern, you will be introduced to the ESG & CSR team within an investment management industry and you will gain industry knowledge, experience, and develop relationships to progress your career and develop skills to secure a permanent role. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting CSR activities in UK and globally (50%)
• Acting as a CSR contact for our London office, including sourcing and setting up volunteer activities, organizing sustainability workshops and training, and other CSR-related employee engagement activities
• Support with global donations administration including performing donations due diligence, assisting in the contracting process and monitoring budgets, as well as collecting impact metrics from grant recipients and preparing presentations
• Support with collecting volunteer data globally and maintaining dashboards and preparing presentations in a way that effectively communicates our efforts to various internal and external stakeholders
Supporting ESG Specialist team (50%)
• Help the specialist team to promote BNPP AM’s sustainability expertise by drafting promotional and educational content on environmental, social, and governance topics related to investments made by BNPP AM
• Assist in preparing materials on BNPP AM’s sustainability approach, including ESG integration across asset management activities and sustainability approach to support responses to client and prospect RFPs.
• Contribute to develop presentation materials and provide support to Sustainability Centre speakers.
• Contribute to external responses for surveys, consultations, media requests, policymaker inquiries, and NGO reports.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Genuine interest in, or curiosity of sustainability issues and how companies can position themselves to address them or have a positive impact in their communities.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional language would be an advantage.
• Strong sense of initiative, with the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage tasks with rigor and reliability.
• Curious mindset, willingness to ask questions, and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
