Job Title: Junior EMEA ETF Product Management Analyst

Job Purpose: The Junior Analyst discovers, develops, manages and evaluates new products and/or solutions, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions, ensuring the competitiveness of existing products. Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Strengthens the sales effort by working with Sales and Marketing to define competitive market requirements and identify opportunities. Models profit and loss, or risk control.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide quantitative analytics for ETFs across equities, fixed income and commodities, including both performance and tracking analyses as well as industry fund flows; ensure that outputs are accurate and produced in a timely fashion
• Respond in a prompt and proactive manner to a wide range of ad-hoc requests from sales for product information and analytics and ensure adherence to relevant Compliance standards in externally distributed materials
• Produce content for client presentations, regular product updates and internal performance analytics and coordinate with other members of the product teams, Content, and Compliance to produce final, client-ready materials
• Collaborate in on-going development of new tools (Excel/VB, Python, etc.) to continuously improve, expand, automate and streamline team processes
• Develop a broad but granular understanding of how Invesco ETFs function and be able to communicate this to other business areas (e.g. sales, marketing)
Other Personal Attributes Required
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills – candidates from STEM fields are highly valued, but strongly numerate candidates from other fields are also encouraged
• A clear analytical thinker and natural problems solver with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, think logically and communicate ideas clearly
• Strong Excel skills and confidence in manipulating data to extract relevant insights. Programming skills (Python) highly valued
• A strong visual sense – should be able to present ideas and quantitative information in an intuitive and visually-appealing manner
• Outstanding attention to detail in the manipulation of data and the preparation of content, both written (grammar) and presentations (formatting)

Our Traineeship will introduce you to the world of investment management, allowing you to build industry knowledge, experience and relationships that will benefit your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role.
As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will also have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
