Job Title: Junior Fixed Income Analyst
Department: ETF & Indexed Strategies Portfolio Management
Reports To: Senior Content Manager

Job Purpose: The Junior Fixed Income Analyst will be a large contributor to the daily activities to a team managing fixed income ETFs in EMEA. The role will be deeply engaged with the daily portfolio management process and will contribute to projects that will support Invesco's Growth Engine Initiative within the ETF & Indexed Strategies business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist portfolio managers with daily tasks like markets analysis, performance and risk checks
• Prepare/ update marketing materials for client meetings including market commentary
• Analyze relative and fair value analysis of bonds in portfolio or new issues & corporate actions
• Enhance the tools & processes to streamline the daily PM tasks
• Work with senior team members to update marketing materials like RFP, due diligence, product decks
• Collaborate with Trading, Operations, IT, Capital Markets and Product teams.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required for role
• Great interest in investment management of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)
• Analytical thinking, strong data analysis capabilities and well-structured working style
Other Personal Attributes Required
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong technical programming skills also beneficial (R, python, VBA)
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel and Powerpoint).
• Ability to work closely in team environment with fellow portfolio managers and global teams
• Clear and concise communication skills to disseminate ideas to the broader team

Our Traineeship will introduce you to the world of investment management, allowing you to build industry knowledge, experience and relationships that will benefit your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role.
As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will also have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
