Job role: On this programme, you’ll be part of Schroders Internal Audit Team within the Infrastructure part of their business. Your main role will be to support the delivery of audits as allocated by the Senior Internal Audit Manager.

The role of Group Internal Audit is to provide independent and objective challenge to, and assurance over, the Schroders Group’s control environment through the evaluation of risk management, control and governance arrangements implemented by management.

The department is led by the Head of Group Internal Audit who has a primary reporting line to the Chairman of the Board Audit and Risk Committee, with a secondary line to the Group Chief Executive. The Internal Audit Trainee reports to one of the department’s Senior Internal Audit Managers, whose team has responsibility for the delivery of a range of audits, including across the asset management division’s operations teams, distribution division, real estate business and our offices in the Americas.

Group Internal Audit works across the business and the Internal Audit Trainee may support internal audits undertaken by teams that cover other areas of the business.
