We are a global financial technology (FinTech) software company – we make & sell specialised software to areas of the investment, trading and finance industries.
We are aiming to continue our recent growth with the addition of a number of Trainee hires into our London office – You will join as a trainee as part of the
Initially offers will be made for a 12 month Fixed-Term-Contract – upon completion of this introductory period, our intention is to transition successful
trainees into full time employees (FTE). This will of course depend on performance & development during the 12-month introduction period. 75% of Investment 20/20 trainees are offered permanent positions at the end of their 12-month programme. Our trainee programme will introduce you to investment management and Financial Technology (FinTech) Software and you
will gain industry knowledge, experience, and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career. You will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
At the start of your FTC, you will be assigned to 1 of 5 teams:
- IT Support
- Software engineering
- Transformation Business Analysis
- Product Operations
- Asset Servicing
Once you join your allocated team, you will be given extensive training & mentoring to enable you to develop skills & knowledge relevant to your particular work stream in addition to training & development on a broader range of topics related to the work we do, the financial services & software technology fields. As your level of knowledge increases, you will be assigned to work & will receive continuous support & assistance as well as regular reviews. You will also have opportunities to gain exposure to our clients, our other teams & departments and will have the chance to learn about all the different functions which contribute to the operation of a global software company.
Our trainee programme is a fixed term one-year contract paying a base salary of £25,000. You will receive a start to work bonus of £1,000 to support you with your travel, clothing and accommodation costs.
All of these roles are open to graduates and will be based in our London City office but over time will include opportunities for flexible working / working from home.
We operate a flexible annual leave scheme whereby we do not limit the number of days our employees may take as leave, subject to high performance & prior manager approval.
This is a programme intended to give you a breadth of knowledge and experience within the business to enable you to make informed decisions about where you would like to develop your career.
Our organisation is based in London, Kyiv, Miami, New York, Chicago, San Diego and Singapore – you will be joining the London office which is currently just over 100 people across a number of different teams & departments.
We have employees from a broad range of backgrounds, levels of seniority & experience and technical / business expertise – you will be regularly interacting with industry professionals who we very much hope you will learn from and engage with throughout your time at Allvue.
The work you will carry out for us will vary slightly depending on which team you are assigned to but could include:
- Investigating technical issues
- Producing documents relating to software changes
- Analysis of internal processes & procedures
- Writing / analysing code
- Supporting our clients in their use of our systems / services
